Shilong Lake National Wetland Park in Sixian County
Shilong Lake National Wetland Park is located in the south of Dalukou town, located in the lower reaches of Shiliang River, the upper reaches of Tiangang Lake, the confluence of Longxu Valley and Shiliang River, belongs to the Shiliang River system, covering an area of more than 30 square kilometers.Shilong Lake wetland has "four wonders" : vast reeds, clear hot springs, migratory birds and rare stones.The normal water surface is about 10000 acres, and during the flood season, the water surface reaches 30000 acres,the deepest part of the lake is about 10 meters, the water quality is excellent, the perennial weeds, a large area of wild plants, nearly 100 kinds of wild fish, dozens of birds;There is a spring eye in Shilong Lake, and the surrounding water temperature remains stable between 23 and 24 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Locals call it “LongYan” and it is currently a well preserved typical wetland ecosystem.
